Supply Chain Visibility: What’s in it for you?
The top 5 reasons you should attend our workshop

Standards-based supply chain visibility is an industry best practice that opens doors for a variety of business benefits, including on-shelf availability, product traceability, order-to-cash process improvements, and a lot more. Learn what supply chain visibility can do to boost your company’s operational efficiencies and increase your own value within your organization.

What will supply chain visibility do for my organization?
With supply chain visibility, a company can quickly determine in what phase the product is in its lifecycle (last known location, on route to, delivery destination). This reduces costs through greater productivity and efficiency, keeps the consumer safe with more precise recalls, and optimizes the flow of product and product data throughout the supply chain. By attending the workshop, you’ll become fluent in understanding physical data flow using the concepts of Key Data Elements (KDEs) and Critical Tracking Events (CTEs) and how they support operational efficiencies, product traceability, and on-shelf availability.

How can unique identification using GS1 Standards help my company be more efficient?
Supply chain visibility enables you to understand a product’s life cycle through the supply chain—when and where it was created, shipped and sold. Unique product identification using GS1 Standards is the first step in this process to make sure data is readily available to all stakeholders. At the workshop, you’ll learn the steps needed to identify, capture, and share product information for supply chain visibility to support a variety of business processes.

What skills and tools will I gain by attending the workshop?
Through hands-on exercises, you will be able to diagram a process flow and construct your own visibility plan—both of which demonstrate the value of GS1 Standards and how they are used during a product’s life cycle.

How does attending the workshop help bring value to my organization?
Supply chain visibility is emerging as an essential part of the entire industry’s evolution to meet trading partner, consumer and regulatory expectations. You will gain a fresh perspective of your organization’s business processes and be able to apply the examples learned to address challenges and facilitate innovation.

What professional value will I gain?
After attending the workshop, you will be educated in the in-depth concepts of supply chain visibility, providing you with the toolkit you need to create visibility plans for your organization.
